Nashville is a great city for sports fans. The city has several professional teams in sports like hockey, football, and soccer, though there are plenty of minor league teams, as well. The city is also home to the Fairgrounds Speedway, one of the longest continually operating race tracks in the country. The professional teams in Nashville are the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, the NHL’s Nashville Predators, the PCL’s Nashville Sounds, the PIFL’s Nashville Venom, the CBL’s Middle Tennessee Storm, and the NPSL’s Nashville FC.
Nashville is also the proud home of four Division I athletic programs, supporting the college sports scene. The Vanderbilt Commodores, the Tennessee State Tigers, the Belmont Bruins, and the Lipscomb Bisons are the college sports programs within the city.
